Infected Syren was formed in 2011 and a year later released a demo, which was enthusiastically received by fans and media around the world. The album was released seven years later, in 2018, due to the members being in different countries, but still managing to keep the band together, perform and write music. The fact that all band members are experienced performers helped too. They have been active in the local Cypriot scene since the late 90s, with some even involved in punk and metal bands abroad.

Their highlights include opening for Uriah Heep, At the Gates and Blaze Bayley as well as performing in different countries and cities such as Berlin, London, Iasi, Thessalonica and all over Cyprus of course. Experimenting and performing all those years has made the members of Infected Syren take their role seriously, of writing and performing heavy alternative music. Expect to hear very diverse influences from bands such as Megadeth, The Exploited, Fuzztones, Overkill, Brian Setzer and The Horrors.
